Squid Game Season 2 Already Creates A Huge Milestone

The stakes were so high for Squid Game Season 2 that we are not even celebrating it. It was kind of obvious that Squid Game Season 2 would become a very huge success. And so is happening. We are not surprised.

Released on December 26, the season made a splash with 68 million views in just four days, breaking Netflix’s record for the biggest TV debut ever.

As of now, Squid Game 2 has climbed to become Netflix’s third-most-watched series, with a huge 152.5 million total views. Still, it’s far from matching the monumental success of the first season, which sits comfortably at the top with 265 million views.

Close behind is Wednesday, another fan-favorite series, which holds second place with 252 million views.

The new season is still in its early days, and with viewers continuing to tune in, its numbers may yet soar. However, competition is fierce. Shows like Wednesday are set to return in 2025, which could make it harder for Squid Game to maintain its reign.

The future of Squid Game 2 looks bright, but only time will tell if it can surpass the unmatched success of its first season. Fans are eagerly watching, and so are we!
