One of the biggest assets of Netflix is definitely Squid Game Season 2. The series launched in 2021 became the most successful series at Netflix and it has all the reasons to be so.
The new teaser for Squid Game Season 2 just dropped and it is giving a chilling preview of what’s to come. We’re back with Seong Gi-hun, who barely survived Season 1’s twisted games, and it looks like he’s on a mission to expose what’s really behind these deadly competitions.
The teaser opens with a scene that is the famous and terrifying “Red Light, Green Light” game. As players run toward a finish line, they must freeze whenever a giant robotic doll turns to look at them. If they’re caught moving, they’re immediately shot. Gi-hun tries to help new players stay safe, but danger strikes and people are killed.
Returning to oversee the brutal games is the masked Front Man, along with Hwang Jun-ho, the detective who infiltrated the games in Season 1.
The most interesting thing about the entire teaser is the make-up. Seong Gi-hun looks aged and more sad. It looks as if his entire mission is to just dismantle the game.
But, can he?
That’s what we will see in the second season. So, enjoy the trailer and let’s wait for December 26th.
