Malayalam entertainment industry and it’s ability to produce absolute gem of a cinema is just incredible. The latest to join the list is ‘Mura’ by ‘Kappela’ fame filmmaker Muhammed Musthafa. The film has successfully completed 50 days in theatres and the team is elated at the response it has been getting.
‘Mura’ follows forum friends who all come from a humble background. Together they plan a heist of a lifetime, but past secrets hidden motives emerge that questions their loyalty in ways unimaginable. As ambition collides with friendship, they face tough choices in their quest for revenge.
Touted be a raw and intense action thriller, ‘Mura’ has garnered positive reviews from critics and public with praises for its storyline, direction, action sequences and performances. The technical aspect is also great. Though there have been a few criticisms about the film’s second half which supposedly meanders a bit.
‘Mura’ is Muhammed Musthafa’s second directorial venture after ‘Kappela’ and is written by Suresh Babu. The film stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, Hridhu Hooran, Krish Hassan, Maala Parvathi, Kani Kusruti, P L Thenappan, Siby Joseph, Jobin Das, Anujith Kannan and Yedhu Krishna among others.
