What Are Indians Saying on “All We Imagine As Light,” Oscar Snub?

All We Imagine As Light is not getting nominated in the Oscars. The list is out and the Payal Kapadia masterpiece is nowhere to be seen.

The film was not an official entry by India, but the makers tried their best to push it through several different marketing tactics. It didn’t work, but as we always say, let’s not make the Oscars the measuring standard for any film’s quality. There are so many things to be considered in judging a film, and given its history, Oscars should never be one aspect.

What are Indians saying about the snub of All We Imagine As Light in the Oscars?

Of course some people will find All We Imagine As Light very boring. After all, it is not a film for the masses. A lot of such people will call it overrated too.

So is happening with the film. A lot of people, especially Indians, are calling the film overrated. They even praise the Oscar committee for this decision.

But there are a far greater number of people who are not very happy about this decision. They are of the opinion that the film deserves to be nominated and it was snubbed.
