Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies is stepping into the digital space after a strong run in theatres. The Malayalam action comedy, which became the first big hit of 2026 for the industry, will begin streaming on Netflix from 19 February. Viewers who missed the film on the big screen can now watch it at home. The platform will release it in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, helping it reach a wider audience across India.
Directed by Adhvaith Nayar and written by Sanoop Thykoodam, the film tells the story of three brothers who start an underground wrestling promotion in Fort Kochi. Inspired by WWE-style matches, their small idea turns into a loud and chaotic journey filled with ambition, rivalry, and family bonds.
The film stars Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath in key roles, with support from Siddique and Lakshmi Menon. Music is composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, adding energy to the wrestling scenes.
Released in theatres on 22 January 2026, the film received mixed to positive reviews. Audiences praised the performances, action scenes, visuals, music, and fast pace. It went on to become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2026 so far, ending its theatrical run as a clear box office success before moving to OTT.
