The biggest reason for watching it is of course Fahadh Faasil as its lead. Faasil has become one of the most trusted actors in the whole of India in recent years and fans believe that he is a touchstone of amazing content.
‘Varathan’ came out in 2018 and tells the story of a rich and talented IT employee named Abin who suddenly loses his job. He reaches home and suddenly gets to know that his wife has had a miscarriage. The two plan a trip to the wife’s village-home in India and start living there for some time. But the local villagers are not very welcoming of them and Priya, the wife, is constantly paranoid that people are noticing her inside the house.
The movie is a wonderful thriller and if you have a knack for Malayalam thrillers, you should not miss this one. It is directed by Amal Neerad and apart from Fahadh Faasil also stars Sharafudheen, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Dileesh Pothan, Arjun Ashokan and more.
