Directed by Jung Byung-gil, ‘The Villainess’ tells the story of a girl who was trained to be a deadly assassin. She goes on a trail of vicious murders as she seeks revenge on those who corrupted her past. The girl goes on to find her freedom from her past through violence and vengeance. The Villainess is rated pretty well and stars actors like Kim Ok-vin, Min Ye-ji, Shin Ha-kyun, Sung Joon, Kim Seo-hyung and many others. It is a must watch if you have a taste for revenge dramas. It is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
Revenger (2018) -Netflix:
‘Revenger’ is the story of a detective named Kim Yool who wants to avenge his family’s death by killing a gangster Carlos. His plans fail as Carlos is arrested and sent off to an island prison. Yool gets to the island and plans to kill Carlos there. On the island he meets a family that despises him and is imprisoned by him. Revenger is directed by Lee Seung-won and stars actors like Bruce Khan, Park Hee-soon, Yoon Jin-seo, Kim In-kwon. The movie is pretty well made and you should not miss it if you are a fan of Korean movies.
