Phew!
Time flies when there are only six episodes in a series and the MCU‘s ‘Hawkeye‘ is about to drop its final episode in two days. It seemed like only yesterday was 24th December 2021, which was when the series first premiered on the Disney+ Hotstar, but look at us now – so close to the sixth and last episode release. The series has been pretty good so far and is probably one of the better shows created by the MCU – better than ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ and ‘What If..?!’. But we expect this show, which is also the last MCU show to air in 2021, to give us a lot of surprises that will have an impact on the upcoming MCU projects as well, so here are two possible things that could happen in the season finale of ‘Hawkeye’:
Hawkeye Dies
Yes, that’s right. We have a feeling that this might actually happen to Clint Barton – getting killed off in his own TV show. While it may be harsh, the character himself seems to be tired of all the fighting and is unable to take a break to spend any time with his own family. While the chances of this happening are less, we certainly will not rule it out.
The True Villain
This is even more likely than the aforementioned one. The true villain behind all of this is not the Kingpin, but rather, Kate’s mom, Eleanor Bishop. She is a villain in the Marvel comics, so this fits her character. She could be controlling things from behind the scenes and could also be responsible for her husband’s death (this one we are not so sure of). There is also a chance that we could see Eleanor teaming up with Sharon Carter as well. But that part is just speculation for now.
The first five episodes of ‘Hawkeye’ is available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The season finale drops the day after tomorrow, on 22nd December 2021 on the same OTT platform at 1:30 pm IST.
