Aaaah Netflix! Even if networks shut down popular TV series – be it for network rating, content type or any other reason; if the TV series are popuakr enough, Netflix will buy the streaming rights to these series, re-vamp them and make them available in their very extensive media library, around the world. And that is what happened to two of the three Netflix TV series that are going to be mentioned below. These three TV series are a few of the highly anticipated shows to ever release on Netflix and two of them are in their final season. Luckily for us, they will all drop in September, which means, “binge-heaven” for us. For now, check them out:
Money Heist
The TV series that put Spanish television on the map, this highly anticipated heist series will drop its fifth and final season on Netflix on September 3rd 2021. It is also one of the previously mentioned TV series which was bought by Netflix who went on to revitalize the series by extending the series by another 3 seasons. The Spanish series follows a group of highly trained thieves who attempt to rob the Royal Mint of Spain.
Lucifer
Similar to ‘Money Heist’, ‘Lucifer‘ too was cancelled by its original network before Netflix took up the series and added another 3 seasons to it. The sixth and final season of this supernatural comedy crime series will premiere on Netflix on September 10th 2021. ‘Lucifer’ follows the Devil who has left Hell to take a break and live out the rest of his days in the City of Angels.
Sex Education
