Maj Rati Keteki (2017)
The film focuses on the return of a renowned writer back to his home after many years away. The films proceeds beautifully like a novel itself, with a new taste with each turning page. The film flows beautifully showing how the writer gets nostalgic and reminisces his beautiful, childhood in those same streets that he is walking now. A story of childhood memories and grown up duties, the film balances it perfectly well. Directed by Santwana Bardoloi, the film stars Adil Hussain, Sulakshana Baruah, Shakil Imtiaz and Mahendra Rabha in pivotal roles. This film is a must watch for everyone.

Village Rockstars (2017)
The movie shows predominantly the rural side of lower Assam. The movie is shot in such a way that it will almost make feel like you are watching a recorded video. With a lot of rawness, the movie nailed everything from the lower assamese dialects to the tiny activities that village kids would do, it did focus a lot on everything. The story follows the journey of a 10 year old and how she one day finds a guitar and tries to form a band to sing songs and have fun. Those dreams will take you back to your childhood and make you feel all kinds of emotions.
