4 Things You Missed In The Spider-Man Trailer!

After months of speculation and a leak later, we finally got the MCU teaser we have all been waiting for – the teaser for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. The promo video shows us that the movie will pick right where it left off, at the end of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’. The trailer brought all the hype back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe while making sure to leave us feeling that there are lives at stake. Many people have been losing their minds over the last few seconds of the trailer, but there are a lot more hidden things that caught our eye, so here are 4 things you missed while watching the ‘Spider-Man‘ trailer:

Mephisto
We know, we know!
Mephisto has been on our minds since ‘WandaVision‘ and we won’t let go of the idea, anytime soon. Us and every other media source will be saying the main thing – the horns on the Peter Parker poster (which should be a Daredevil reference in our book), the ‘Spider-Man: One More Day’ comic book timeline and involvement of Stephen Strange who is more than willing to change the reality of Earth (which makes no sense). Hopefully, this time, we will finally get a look at the demon.

OOC Doctor Strange
Although Dr. Strange and Peter are friends now, the fact that he is willing to use a spell to help just one person on Earth while changing the lives of others forever – doesn’t sound like something the sorcerer will actually do. In fact, it looks very out of character for him.

Towards the middle of the trailer, we see Dr. Strange berating Peter for wanting to live two lives (which sounds more like the Doctor), and seems to be scolding him for wanting to change his timeline. That doesn’t make sense unless Strange himself would never have done the spell in the first place.

Scarlet Witch?!

We get a very minor glimpse of “red magic” in one scene featuring Peter. Although the scene lasted for just one second, the magic looked very similar to the type Scarlet Witch wields. Hopefully, she is making an appearance in this movie too.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

While showing us Doc Oc and the Green Goblin Pumpkin grenade will seriously amp up the stakes for this movie, we have a feeling t is not what it looks like. Spider-Man messing with the reality of his own timeline will be the focus of this film. In one of the trailer scenes, we see that Doctor Strange will create a mirror dimension on top of a train – we think he and Spider-Man are fighting; since the latter doesn’t know who the other one is (if the spell works).

We believe that in the end, they will fix the reality together (maybe with the help of Scarlet Witch as well) but that will lead to opening up portals into their timeline or bringing villains from alternate universes to the main MCU Timeline. And if that is what is going to happen, then the Doc Oc scene is actually at the end of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ and we will only see the epic battle between ‘Spider-Man’ and the rest of the Spiderverse villains in

‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘ is expected to premiere in theatres on December 17th 2021, around the globe.
