5 Marvel Characters We Would Love to See in ‘Doctor Strange 2’

The fascinating concept of the multiverse had caught the fancy of superhero movie buffs when the well-crafted animated Spider-Man film ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ came out in 2018. The concept was subsequently brought to the big screen in a live-action format in Tom Holland’s blockbuster film ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’.

Now all eyes are on Sam Raimi’s forthcoming venture ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ in which the lead actor Benedict Cumberbatch will travel along with his allies into the multiverse to face a mysterious new enemy. And in their multiversal adventures, we would love to see the following five characters Doctor Strange, and his team could meet.

Iron Man (played by Tom Cruise)

It’s a virtual certainty that the original Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. wouldn’t most likely appear as the popular character in future MCU projects. That makes way for another Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise to potentially step into the shoes of the iron-clad superhero.

A few days back, leaked pictures from the sets of Doctor Strange had sparked speculations about Tom Cruise making an appearance as Iron Man (from another universe) in the Doctor Strange sequel. Seems to be a delightful prospect indeed.

Hulk (Played by Edward Norton)

Edward Norton is a terrific actor, and he had proved his mettle by his credible portrayal as the angry green giant in the 2008 superhero movie ‘The Incredible Hulk’. Eventually, he was replaced by an equally adept performer Mark Ruffalo in subsequent MCU movies. Who would not like to see Edward Norton reprise his role as Bruce Banner aka Hulk in the upcoming ‘Doctor Strange’ movie?

Spider-Man (Played by Tobey Maguire)

Tobey Maguire’s adorable performance in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy has a special place in the hearts of superhero aficionados. And fans would certainly be overjoyed to see the actor in an even meatier role in the upcoming ‘Doctor Strange’ movie after his brief yet compelling act in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’.

Loki (Played by Tom Hiddleston)

Fresh off the heels of the widespread acclaim as The God of mischief in Disney’s ‘Loki’ series, Tom Hiddleston would make an interesting partnership with Benedict Cumberbatch’s ‘Doctor Strange’.

Vision (Played by Paul Bettany)

Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch will ostensibly have a prominent part to play as she will join forces with Doctor Strange in the highly anticipated sequel. And the potential presence of Paul Bettany’s Vision and his chemistry with Wanda would certainly set the screen on fire, in case that happens.
