The romantic science fiction film revolves around two former lovers – the outgoing Clementine (Kate Winslet) and the introvert and shy Joel (Jim Carrey). When Joel finds out that Clementine has erased his memories from her mind, he too decides to undergo the same medical procedure. But he eventually realizes that he still loves her but is it too late now?

Primer, 2004 (Streaming on Mubi)

The low-budget and complex sci-fi flick revolves around two small-time engineers Aaron and Abe who accidentally discover time travel while making an error checking device. When they try to carefully further explore their fascinating invention, they must face its serious consequences. If you consider yourself a movie buff, ‘Primer’ is the kind of film to test yourself.

The Butterfly Effect, 2004 (Streaming on Google Play, YouTube – PPV)

The deftly executed sci-fi flick revolves around a college student named Evan (played by Ashton Kutcher). While growing up, he suffers from several blackouts. Many years later, he finds a supernatural way to somehow transport himself back in time to those periods when he had experienced those blackouts. But when he tries to alter the past events using his gift, the plan backfires resulting in terrifying alternate realities.
