Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan), the movie follows a medical student (Blake Lively), who goes surfing on a secluded beach in Mexico. But the vacation turns out to be her worst nightmare after she is attacked by a great white shark and she is stuck just 200 yards away from the shore.
Trapped, 2016 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Zee5)
The survival thriller revolves around a call-center employee (played by Rajkumar Rao). One day, he gets accidentally trapped inside a flat, which is located within an empty apartment complex. He is forced to survive without any basic amenities and contact with the outside world. His desperate attempts to stay alive despite all odds, forms the rest of the story. It was directed by Vikramaditya Motwane.
I Am Legend, 2007 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
The film features Will Smith as a scientist and apparently the lone human survivor roaming around in the post-apocalyptic desolated streets of New York, which are infested with violent, cannibalistic mutants. Being somehow immune, can he find the cure using his own blood?
Gravity, 2013 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video)
Directed by Alfonso Cuaron, this visually stunning film follows a shuttle mission comprising an experienced astronaut (George Clooney) and a medical engineer (Sandra Bullock) and their desperate attempt to return to Earth against all odds after the destruction of their shuttle.
