What is better than a rom-com? A fantasy rom-com. This time travel based cutesy film is centred around two teenagers caught in a time loop and how they end up finding love in each other. Kathryn Newton and Kyle Allen are beautiful together.

2) I want you Back (2022) – Amazon Prime Video
This light-hearted romance follows Peter and Emma as they set out on a mission to get back to their ex-partners who have happily moved on to new romances. A very cliched plot, but still ridiculously entertaining. Jenny Slate and Charlie Day’s comic timing is worth your time.

3) Serendipity (2001) – Netflix
This John Cusack and Katie Beckinsale romance revolves around a New Yorker and a British woman as they hope for destiny to reunite them years after their short lived romance. This film is one of those iconic rom-coms and has aged so well.

4) How to lose a guy in 10 days (2003) – Netflix
Benjamin played by Matthew McConaughey is challenged by his colleagues to make a woman fall in love with him. Meanwhile, Andie played by Kate Hudson has to write an article on how to lose a man in 10 days. There’s so much fun, so much romance and so much to drool over when the two come together.

5) Just Go with it (2011) – Netflix
Adam Sandler and Queen of Comedy Jennifer Aniston come together in this super engaging romantic comedy. Not only are you in for a fireworks chemistry between the two, but it’s also fun to see Adam Sandler slaying a rom-com now that he’s mostly into dramatic roles. Watch it right away.
