5 Underrated & Must-Watch Indian Web Series Of 2023

2023 has been an exciting year for Indian OTT viewers. We have witnessed a host of entertaining shows like ‘Farzi’, ‘Rocket Boys’, ‘Scam 2003’, and ‘The Night Manager’ to name a few. On the other hand, 2023 is also the year which has also seen some underrated shows which didn’t get the same kind of popularity and buzz which they deserved. Neeraj Pandey’s thriller web series revolves around a daredevil rescue mission undertaken by a fearless mercenary to get back a young girl from war-torn Syria. It features Mohit Raina, Kashmira Pardeshi, and Anupam Kher in important roles.

Charlie Chopra & The Mystery of Solang Valley (Streaming on SonyLIV)

Helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the mystery thriller series is a small screen adaptation of Agatha Christie’s whodunnit ‘The Sittaford Mystery’. After her fiancée gets entangled in a murder case, Charlie Chopra (Wamiqa Gabbi) must unearth the mystery before it’s too late. The show also features Neena Gupta, Ratna Pathak Shah, Naseeruddin Shah, Vivaan Shah, Gulshan Grover, and Lara Dutta, etc.

Save the Tigers (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar)

The Telugu language comedy drama series focuses on three frustrated husbands whose desperate rants somehow go public and the hilarious repercussions that follow.

Jehanabad – Of Love and War (Streaming on SonyLIV)

The crime drama series is set in a small place Jehanabad located in Bihar in the year 2005 and follows the story of a professor (Ritwik Bhowmik), who wants to get married to his student (Harshita Gaur). But things are not expected to go smoothly amidst the backdrop of Naxalites planning to free their commander (Parambrata Chattopadhyay) from a prison.
