The unprecedented success of RRR is something we do not need to repeat. The movie, apart from shattering several box office records, won many international awards, including an Oscar.
Although Oscar should never be the set standard for judging a film, the real greatness of RRR lies in its cinematic craft and the love it received from people all around the globe.
Well, the Academy invites cinema artists from all across the globe to be their members. Those members hold voting rights, which ultimately affects the films that are going to be nominated.
Well, earlier, we have seen people from Bollywood getting invitations from the Academy. Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Shahrukh Khan, etc., have also been a part of the Academy.
However, this year it is pure magic. Six people involved in the making of RRR have received an invitation from the Academy to be their members.

But that’s not all from India. We have the master filmmaker Mani Ratnam as well, who joins the list. From Bollywood, however, the invitation went to Karan Johar and Siddharth Roy Kapoor.
Shaunak Sen, the man behind All That Breathes, is also invited.
There are several more people, as the total number of people who are a part of The Academy is 10,817.
