6 OTT Titles To Watch This Week (21st July)

This week has a lot of options, primarily from the Indian market. Both Prime Video and Netflix India are bringing their series of the month and they have recognisable faces. Even JioHotstar has a film coming with big stars like Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran leading the cast. So, it is most certainly going to be interesting. Let’s see how many of them actually impresses us.

Mandala Murders
If you enjoy crime and thrillers, Mandala Murders on Netflix being rolled out on July 25th, is a good pick. Set in a creepy town called Charandaspur, the show follows two detectives, played by Vaani Kapoor and Vaibhav Raj Gupta, as they chase down ritual killers linked to an old secret society. It’s full of mystery, dark symbols and shocking secrets.

Rangeen
On Prime Video, Rangeen, streaming from July 25th tells the story of a simple man whose life turns upside down when he discovers his wife’s betrayal. He dives into the shady world of paid intimacy but ends up learning uncomfortable truths about himself, love and revenge. Vineet Kumar Singh plays the lead and he is joined by Rajshri Deshpande and Sheeba Chaddha.

Sarzameen
Over on JioHotstar, also from the 25th of July, Sarzameen features Prithviraj Sukumaran as an army officer fighting terrorism in Kashmir. Things get personal when his own son becomes part of the problem. Kajol plays his wife, adding emotional depth to this intense family drama.

Happy Gilmore 2
If you want something lighter, Happy Gilmore 2 is set to hit Netflix on July 25th. Adam Sandler returns as the funny, grumpy golfer who comes out of retirement to help his daughter. It’s packed with familiar faces and some surprise cameos from sports stars.

Acapulco (Season 4)
Acapulco on Apple TV+ returns for its fourth and final season from the 23rd of July with more heart, humour and nostalgia as Máximo tries to save his beloved resort in two timelines, the 80s and present day.

Novocaine
Lastly, Novocaine, which hits Prime Video on July 24th is an action-packed thriller where Jack Quaid plays a man who can’t feel pain. When his crush is kidnapped during a bank heist, he uses his rare condition to fight back.
