Diversity matters a lot and it has never been as important as it is these days. If a platform is failing to prove itself diverse then it is failing as a platform too. Netflix is sure about representing a lot of diversity and it can’t possibly compromise on showing stories where black actors are in lead.

The film starring Jonah Hill, Lauren London, David Duchovny, Nia Long, Sam Jay, and Elliott Gould is coming to Netflix on January 27. It tells the story of a couple who struggle with their families to get married.
Luther: The Fallen Sun
Luther: The Fallen Sun is a spin-off film to the BBC series Luther. Led by Idris Elba, the film is arriving on Netflix on March 10.
They Cloned Tyrone
The film stars John Boyega, Jamie Foxx, and Teyonah Parris. It tells the story of a trio that gets trapped in some serious conspiracy. It is arriving on Netflix on July 21.
Lift
Lift stars Kevin Hart, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Úrsula Corberó. A heist crew is recruited to prevent a terrorist attack and the film deals with the problems within. It will release on August 25.
Damsel
The film has a stellar cast of Millie Bobby Brown, Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Brooke Carter, and Shohreh Aghdashloo. It tells the story of a princess who is treated as nothing but a debt repayment. It is coming on October 13.
Leave The World Behind
Coming on December 8th, the film is about two families that must escape surviving or else they will be killed. It stars Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke, Myha’la, Farrah Mackenzie, Charlie Evans, and Kevin Bacon.
Rebel Moon
Before we go into any other detail, Rebel Moon is directed by Zack Snyder. It is a space film where planets will jumble together to fight a war. It will be the Christmas big release of the year on Netflix as it is coming on December 22. It stars Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Bae Doona, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, Anthony Hopkins, and more.
