7th V/H/S Movie To Be A Sci-fi Horror! New Possibilities Unlocked?

The makers of the popular horror film series ‘V/H/S’ have announced another installment for the franchise. But it goes in a different direction from all its predecessors. The 7th V/H/S movie will not be a regular horror anthology, it will be sci-fi horror. The movie will take horror to space.

The 7th V/H/S Movie was announced at the New York Comic-Con and fans are excited with the news. The first movie of the series came out in 2012 and received mixed reviews. V/H/S 2 came out the next year and it was a success with audiences and the critics as well. The fanbase of the franchise is growing ever since and now the makers have decided to take it to a different level.

Josh Goldbloom of Cinepocalypse has said, “Jason Voorhees, Leprechaun, Pinhead, Dracula, even the Amityville Horror house ended up in space, so as we move into our own Part 7 it was only natural that we should too. The sci-fi horror genre provides us an infinite playground of forbidden worlds and dangerous lifeforms, a formula which we’re confident will lead to the biggest, maddest, bloodiest V/H/S ever.” But there is a twist to it. There have been space horror movies before, but probably none of them were found footage movies. The USP of the V/H/S franchise is its hyper realistic take on the genre by the use of handheld cameras, amateurish cinematography and so on.

The latest movie, V/H/S 85, which came only recently, was a huge success. Let us see now how found footage horror is crossed with science fiction to make a good movie.
