‘Polar’ is available to watch on Netflix and is a superb action thriller. The movie tells the story of Duncan Vizla who has served his time as the world’s finest assassin and is known to all as The Black Kaiser. He decides to retire because of age but his boss does not want to waste any pension money on retired assassins. Vizla becomes the target of his employer and a gang of ruthless, young and energetic killers are set out to kill him. Vizla has to fight all of them to save his life. It seems a bit similar to the John Wick stories but it will feel much more different when you watch it. ‘Polar’ is written by Jayson Rothwell and directed by Jonas Åkerlund. It is adapted from the graphic novel ‘Polar: Came From the Cold’ by Victor Santos.
Apart from Mads Mikkelsen, there are other actors like Vanessa Hudgens, Katheryn Winnick, Matt Lucas, Ruby O. Fee, Fei Ren, Anthony Grant and Josh Cruddas.
