Telugu streaming platform ETV Win will present a new flick named ‘Committee Kurrollu’, which is of the satirical comedy-drama genre and speaks about a serious social issue. This was released in theatres on the 9th of August and received positive responses from the audience.
The movie is written and directed by debutant Yadu Vamsi. Produced by Padmaja Konidela and Jayalakshmi Adapaka for Pink Elephant Pictures and Shree Radha Damodhar Studios, the film features actors Sandeep Saroj, P. Sai Kumar, Goparaju Ramana, Sharanya Suresh, and Yaswanth Pendyala in prevalent roles. The movie showcases a close-knit relationship and camaraderie, set up somewhere near the West Godavari region, affecting their bond when a conflict regarding a social issue occurs and their pursuit is the engaging factor in the story. It has a plot-driven narrative and a compelling storyline.
The technical department like the cinematography and editing by debutants Edurolu Raju and Anwar Ali are top notch and the music by Anudeep Dev is just brilliant and rocking. Now what happens is there is a trend of not working the connectivity of audience in OTT Platforms when it comes to theatrical success which happens frequently in Comedy drama genres. The layman’s terms like ‘lag’, ‘tiresome nostalgia depictions’, etc. can be felt in the film which could be a challenge. The story’s crux will seem to have a lot of resemblances to the recent Malayalam movie ‘Manjummel Boys’ but as the way of its conception is different, this might be a clear-cut relief entertainer.
