A Quiet Place: Day One – Paramount Unveils New Trailer

The new trailer for Paramount’s A Quiet Place: Day One is out now. The film will serve as a prequel to John Krasinski’s original 2018 film. The prequel stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou.

‘Day One’ takes place before the first film, and revolves around a woman named, Sam (played by Nyong’o). Her life turns upside down after an alien invasion brims New York City with bloodthirsty alien creatures with ultrasonic sound hearing. US Military seemingly worsens the situation after bombing the city’s bridges to keep the monsters inside NYC. We also see Sam partnering up with Eric (Quinn) to ensure her survival.

The upcoming prequel certainly looks bigger and more explosive than both of Krasinski’s movies. The former’s story is developed by Krasinski and Michael Sarnoski, who also directed the film. Sarnoski also wrote the movie’s screenplay.

Platinum Dunes and Sunday Night Productions have co-produced the spin-off, with Paramount Pictures handling its worldwide distribution.

A Quiet Place: Day One was initially scheduled to come out on September 22, 2023, but got delayed due to the Hollywood strikes. Now, the film will arrive in theatres worldwide on June 28, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates. Check out the new trailer below. Enjoy!
