There is one problem which almost all OTT viewers face these days while going through the massive list of films and series titles on the Netflix streaming platform. It’s that every time they find an interesting title, whose critics’ ratings they are unsure of, they go to the trusted portals like IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, and Metacritic, to check how good a particular title is.
But what if we tell you that there is a cool way with which you can view the movie or show’s IMDb ratings, Rotten Tomatoes critics’ score, and Metacritic score on the Netflix application itself? That is, without the need to separately visit these websites on your browser. Yes, it’s possible and we’ll let you know how exactly it can be done.
For those of you who use the Google Chrome browser, you just have to install a useful Chrome extension called ‘Trim’ through the Chrome web store. You can use the link https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/trim and search for the Trim extension and the click on ‘Add to Chrome’.
After you have successfully installed the Trim Google Chrome extension, you should be able to see IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, and Metacritic ratings on your Netflix app when you have opened it through your Chrome browser. The ratings will appear on the top of the thumbnails of the titles on Netflix.
And not just that, you can even check the movies and series’ reviews on the respective websites just by tapping on the IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, and Metacritic ratings link shown on the Netflix app (after Trim installation).
