Joaquín Phoenix has played many iconic roles and has been in many wonderful movies. But some of them are more talked about than others and some are barely noticed. ‘C’mon C’mon’ is a movie that should not be missed by fans of Joaquín Phoenix.
The movie came out in 2021 and is now available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. ‘C’mon C’mon’ is written and directed by Mike Mills and tells the story of a journalist named Johnny who has been given the responsibility of looking after his nephew when his sister is absent from the city. Johnny and his nephew embark on a trip from LA to New York and their bond deepens during the journey and the two learn many things about life on the way.
If you are a fan of movies that are simple and yet give so much to think about you should definitely go through ‘C’mon C’mon’. There are wonderful performances by Gaby Hoffmann, Scoot McNairy, Molly Webster, Jaboukie Young-White, Woody Norman apart from Phoenix. The cinematography is handled by Robbie Ryan and the music is given by composers Aaron Dessner and Bryce Dessner.
