‘The 40 Year Old Virgin’ came out in 2005 and told the story of a decent, easy going, happy go lucky person named Andy. As the title suggests, Andy is in his 40s and is a Virgin as well. He works for an electronics store and is absolutely happy with his life, and he keeps his virginity a secret. Then his colleagues come to know that he has never had sex in his life. They all decide to make some plans for him so that he can break his celibacy and enjoy the greater joys of life.
The movie is directed by Judd Apatow and Steve Carrell co-wrote the screenplay with him. The movie is wonderfully written and the performances are great. ‘The 40 Year Old’ impressed critics as well as audiences and it received pretty good ratings. The cinematography is handled by Jack N. Green and the music for the film is given by Lyle Workman.
