Tollywood Telugu Hero, Sundeep Kishan’s last film, A1 Express has ended up as an average venture at the box office. Touted to be the Telugu film industry’s first Hockey film, A1 Express is the official remake of the Tamil film, Natpe Thunai (2019). Sun Network bagged the satellite and digital rights of the movie as a bouquet. It has also shared the movie rights with Jio Cinema.
Sun Network’s OTT Platform – Sun Nxt and Jio Cinema will have the digital premiere of the film from May 1st. A1 Express has released in February but Sun Network has delayed the premiere but with COVID second wave, all the OTT platforms are in a hurry to push fresh content to their subscribers. As a result, Sun Nxt is coming up with A1 Express. It has recently come up with another Telugu film, Sreekaram starring Sharwanand.
A1 Express has Lavanya Tripathi as the female lead and is directed by Dennis Jeevan Konukolanu. The team even used some real Hockey players and shot the film in a real hockey stadium in North India during the Pandemic first wave. Sundeep Kishan will be next seen in a film named Gully Rowdy directed by G Nageswara Reddy.
