The box office witnessed a remarkable feat with the release of ‘Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life,’ as lead actor Prithviraj Sukumaran shared the movie’s staggering opening weekend earnings of approximately Rs 23 crore on social media. Screening on close to 2000 screens globally, it marked one of Prithviraj’s highest-grossing single-day collections, living up to the hype surrounding its release.
The survival thriller made a significant impact in India, grossing Rs 7.60 crore on its opening day and continuing its strong performance, surpassing the Rs 6.50 crore mark by March 29. Across all languages, the film accumulated a total of Rs 14.10 crore, with the Malayalam version standing out by earning Rs 11.82 crore, supported by contributions from other languages.
Adding another feather to it’s cap, Disney+Hotstar acquired the digital streaming rights for ‘Aadujeevitham.’ While the digital release date remains undisclosed, it is anticipated to be available online 45 days after its theatrical debut. Directed by Blessy and featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Amala Paul, the film’s adaptation of the novel’s narrative, coupled with the talent of AR Rahman as music director and Resul Pookutty as sound score designer, ensures its appeal across a wide audience spectrum encompassing Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi viewers.
