The official trailer for ‘Aakhri Sach‘ is out now. It will be a mystery thriller with Tamanna Bhatia in the leading role. Tamannaah is playing a top cop investigating a case of multiple murders in the same house. The show will be premiering on the 25th of August on Disney+Hotstar.
The cast includes other actors like Avishek Banerjee, Shivani Narang, Nikhil Nanda, Rahul Bagga, Danish Iqbal, Nishu Dikshit, Kriti Vij and Sanjeev Chopra. It is directed by Robbie Grewal.
‘Aakhri Sach’ tells the story of the Burari deaths of Delhi. The much acclaimed Netflix documentary ‘House Of Secrets’ too was based on the same story. Aakhri Sach, however, is not a documentary and has some fictionalising elements in the show too. The story follows a family of 11 members, where one morning all the members were found hanging from the ceiling. It was quite a difficult case for the police and did not have a definite conclusion. The Netflix documentary was very popular among audiences.
It is really a pretty good year for Tamannaah Bhatia. With shows like Jee Karda and then the anthology Lust Stories, Rajanikanth’s ‘Jailer’, she has had quite a success this year. Now, Aakhri Sach too looks promising. The trailer is quite good, but it will be tough to compete with the popularity of House Of Secrets.
