You may be aware that the highly popular Disney+Hotstar series Aarya is returning for its third season. The series is exceptionally popular and at least the first two seasons were really well-made.
As the name suggests, the series is the story of Aarya. Played by Sushmita Sen, the evolution of the protagonist is the reason people love it so much.
The first season was about an Aarya who is sensitive, traumatized, and wants to stay away from crime as much as she can. The second one was about her transition from an innocent woman to a hardcore criminal. More revelations and crueler traumas catalyzed the arc of Aarya.
The latest promo indicates that she is now totally changed into a badass criminal who finds it hard to leave the crime world. We find Aarya receiving wedding proposals due to the insistence of her daughter but Aarya is so much into her world that it seems impossible. Also, she keeps her gun with her all the time.
Well, the promo is not something highly interesting. Because we have already seen thousands of characters who get addicted to the crime world after initial hesitation. The only bigger thing in Aarya is the sophistication it brings in itself.
Let’s see when the series arrives as there is no specific release date. Also, the teaser and trailer will cast some more clarity on the character and the show.
