Netflix, this week, signed a fresh deal with Adam Sandler for a clutch of new movies, all of them as Netflix Originals. Apparently, as Netflix says, its subscribers love Adam Sandler.
The streaming platform had first inked a deal with Sandler for four films, way back in 2014. That deal was renewed by Netflix in 2017, with another four films as deliverables from Sandler’s end. Now come 2020, Netflix has signed on the dotted line for a fresh batch of four films with the powerhouse performer.
Until now, Adam Sandler and his production house, Happy Madison Productions, have made The Ridiculous 6, The Do-Over, Sandy Wexler, The Week Of and Murder Mystery for Netflix. He has also produced a stand-up special called 100% Fresh for the streaming platform.
Coming next from Adam Sandler on Netflix is the Halloween comedy, Hubie Halloween. Well, all we can say is, bring ’em on!
