Ridley Scott’s iconic Hollywood sci-if film ‘Alien’ movie franchise is getting adapted into a series and ‘The White Tiger’ fame Adarsh Gourav has been roped in to star in the international prequel series.
Adarsh Gourav has proved his talent with his breakout success in ‘The White Tiger’ that not only garnered him global recognition but also earned him the prestigious BAFTA nomination.
He will now be seen in a groundbreaking role in the much awaited ‘Alien’ prequel series that will be executive produced by acclaimed filmmaker Ridley Scott. The Hulu-FX series is helmed by Noah Hawley.
‘Alien’ is a sci-if horror prequel series that will be set 70 years before the events of the 1979 film and stars Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin and Essie Davis among others. It is a joint production between 20th Television and Scott Free Productions and will premiere on FX on Hulu.
Adarsh’s recent performance in Netflix’s ’Guns and Gulaabs’ by Raj & DK has also received huge praise from the audience and critics alike. He will next be seen in Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films co-production ‘Kho Gaye Him Kahan’ co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Rohan Gurbaxani.
Adarsh Gourav made his debut as a child artist in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ and went on to star in films like ‘Rukh’ and ‘Mom’. His other notable web projects include ‘Leila’, ‘Hostel Daze’ and ‘Extrapolations’.
