‘Adbhut’ Trailer: Eerie, Mysterious & Chilling

By Binged Bureau - Aug 24, 2024 @ 12:08 pm

The trailer for Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer horror thriller ’Adbut’ is out and this one will send chills down your spine. Helmed by Sabbir Khan, ‘Adbhut’ will skip theatres and OTT and premiere on Sony MAX Tv channel on 15th September, 2024.

The trailer is set in a quaint, eerie hilly town where a young couple (Shreya Dhanwanthary and Rohan Mehra) moves in a remote house surrounded by the woods. Soon enough strange things start happening in their new home and that’s when they call a detective (played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui).

Upon investigation, the detective finds a woman named Mary Mathews (Diana Penty), in the vicinity of the site of all three attacks, drawing suspicion upon her. The detective then tries find her connection to the couple, specially the husband.

Until now the story feels a bit predictable but what follows is a scary set of events with the wife getting haunted and possessed. There are secrets to be unravelled, mysteries to be solved and people to be saved. Will the detective find the truth?

‘Adbhut’ trailer is scary, it does create that horrifying few that will make you hide behind the pillow while watching it. From the looks of it, the film definitely deserved better than premiering on TV.

‘Adbhut’ is a supernatural thriller drama that was announced back in 2021 with release set in 2022. But after a teaser launch, it went on a silent mode with no updates. Finally the makers have revealed today that the film will premiere as a Sony MAX Original Release.

‘Adbhut’ is written and directed by Sabbir Khan and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Diana Penty and Rohan Mehra in lead roles. Jointly produced by Sony Pictures Films India and Sabbir Khan Films ‘Adbhut’ will premiere on Sony MAX ON 15th September, 2024.
