Trailer for Adivi Sesh’s ‘Maior’ is here and it ignites the patriotic spirit with a bucket load of emotions that touch the heart. Shot in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously and helmed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, ‘Major’ is all set to hit the big screens on 3rd June, 2022.
The trailer begins with Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan reminiscing a childhood conversation with his mother while on the way to Hotel Taj Mahal Palace for a mission against the terrorists who attacked the place on 26th November 2008.
While we watch Major Sandeep training in the academy and going for some of the most dangerous missions, his father can be seen addressing people post his demise about how his son picked a soldier’s life even though the family did not fully support him about joining the army.
We also get to see a small glimpse of his love life with his childhood crush but then it’s always about the country first for any soldier and it wasn’t anything different for Sandeep. For him more than being a good son or a good husband it was more about being a good soldier.
What follows is an enthralling sequence of events where we get to see how it all unfolded and despite knowing the risk Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan did not hesitate for his life even once and went ahead on a deadly mission to fight the terrorists.
Starring Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma in prominent roles, ‘Major’ is a film inspired from true events that follows the story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and how he saved multiple lives before being martyred during the terrorist attack on Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai on 26th November, 2008.
Adivi Sesh is making his Hindi film debut with ‘Major’ which he has also written. The film is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and is produced by Mahesh Babu, Anurag Reddy and Sharath Chandra. The production companies bankrolling the film are Sony Pictures International Productions, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment and A+S Movies.
‘Major’ will release in cinemas on 3rd June, 2022.
