After all these years, luck changed for Arunoday Singh with the web series, Apaharan. The AltBalaji show is one of the best from the stable. A sequel to the series is currently underway. It wasn’t his first on the digital platform though, that would be Love Per Square Foot, which arrived on Netflix.
The next big thing on the anvil for the Apaharan actor is Chargesheet The Shuttlecock Murder. It is a Zee5 original based on a true story of Indian badminton player Syed Modi. It was said that he could have been the greatest Indian badminton player, but, unfortunately, Syed Modi was murdered. It shook the entire nation, and CBI investigated the case directly.
The eight-episode series will feature an impressive cast that includes names like Shiv Pandit, Tridha Choudhury, Sikandar Kher, Hrishita Bhatt, Zakir Hussian, Ashwini Kalsekar etc. Priyanka Ghatak is writing the series which is directed by Shashant Shah.
