Now that we have seen a documentary on David Beckham, chronicling his rise to succeess as a football player and pop culture icon, Netflix is bringing a new documentary series on his wife Victoria Beckham.
Before being recognised as David Beckham’s wife, Victoria rose to prominence in the 90s when she was the member of a girl’s group called Spice Girls and was known as Posh Spice. Moreover, she is an internationally recognised style icon and fashion designer.
In the upcoming docuseries that will come on Netflix, viewers will get a peek into the former pop star’s personal life, as she juggles between her business and family. According to Netflix, “the series will follow her reinvention as a creative fire of her own brand – offering exclusive access to Victoria, her fashion and beauty business, and her never before seen archives.”
The upcoming series will be produced by Studio 99 in association with Dorothy St Pictures. Emmy nominated Nicola Howson (‘Beckham’, ‘99’, ‘Save Our Squad’, ‘Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything’) and BAFTA nominated Julia Nottingham (‘Pamela: A Love Story’, ‘The Greatest Night In Pop’) will serve as executive producers for the series.
