Chhava is the biggest blockbuster of Bollywood so far. The movie starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna and Akshay Khanna in the lead roles became a huge hit that also stirred quite a lot of political controversy in the country. But even after so many troubles, the movie is a big-time hit and perhaps that’s what matters to the producers in these tough times for cinema.
Anyway, a film like Chhava deserves a big OTT welcome. Unfortunately, that never happened. Chhava was announced less than 24 hours before the actual release on Netflix India. This did not allow a lot of buzz. But let’s assume that the film did not need any extra buzz.
Even then, the film should have been released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu altogether. Yesterday, the film started streaming in only Hindi and it caused the South Indian fans to express their outrage.
Thanks to that, the movie is now also streaming in Telugu but the Tamil version is still nowhere to be seen. This is a little disturbing as the movie should have dropped all the audio all at once.
Anyway, the film is getting a great response from the audience. People are getting hyper-excited seeing the film and let’s see what numbers it gets.
