The weekly Netflix charts reveal something cruel about the happenings at Netflix. It is a truth universally acknowledged that a big film with a big cast is usually in want of good reviews.
But, something went terribly wrong with Spaceman. Despite being a science fiction film with Adam Sandler, Spaceman failed to impress. The movie not only invited poor critical reviews but also, poor views.
But, the new movie is like a breath of fresh air on the platform. We are talking about Millie Bobby Brown’s ‘Damsel’ which received a really great response on the platform.

You know what is the most interesting part of the whole thing?
Even Damsel received poor reviews. It is nothing great of a film but somehow connected well with the audience. It could be because of the better promotions. But the numbers are bound to fall in the second week. At the end of the day, it is not a good film and promotions can’t really take it much ahead.
Damsel debuted on Women’s Day and it was marketed as a damsel who is not in distress. But, merely moving away from the popular belief doesn’t ensure anything great. They must justify and convince the new proposition of ideas, which Damsel couldn’t.
