As per media reports, the shooting of Krrish 4 will be starting next year. Fans have been waiting for a long time for this update and both Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan have been saying that the film is under development.
Filmmaker Karan Malhotra will be directing the film and Rakesh Roshan, who has previously directed all three films of the franchise will be serving as a supervisor and creator. Karan Malhotra has directed films like ‘Agneepath’, ‘Brothers’ and ‘Shamshera’. Apart from Shamshera, his works have been pretty well appreciated and successful too. His collaboration with Hrithik in Agneepath worked out pretty well and hopefully he will bring new dimensions to the Krrish franchise.
Karan Malhotra has associated with Hrithik for a few unsuccessful attempts like Shuddhi and the screen adaptation of Immortals Of Meluha by Amish Tripathi. Both of them have been pretty high scale and ambitious projects. Siddharth Anand, who worked with Roshan in films like War and Bang Bang will be acting as a producer alongside Filmkraft, which is owned by Hrithik.
Hrithik will be next seen in War 2 and Fighter, both directed by Siddharth Anand. The shooting for Krrish 4 is going to commence by the start of 2024 and it will be released by the end of the year.
The makers have pretty big plans for the movie as it is definitely very special to them. There are rumors that there will be more twists and turns in the fourth installment than the previous ones. Krrishna going back in time to bring back his father Rohit Mehra and Jadu, the alien that helped Rohit, is a possibility. Fans are excited for the film and hopefully it will be one of the biggest hits of the year.
