Tamil superstar Vijay is coming with his next action thriller The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) on September 5th, Thursday. The movie is set to be released in 5000 screens throughout India in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. The film will also be screened overseas which makes the film even more grand. AGS Entertainment’s Archana Kalpathi expressed how tensed the production team is for the release of this movie.
The film is made with a huge budget of around 340 crores. Archana, the producer called it the ‘Biggest Venture’ of the production house till date. The film is already a topic of conversation prior to its release. This is also due to the film being one of the last projects Vijay will undertake before shifting to full-time politics. Kalpathi already acknowledged how working with a superstar already adds pressure to the team as the expectations with a superstar are always high. With the film being Vijay’s one of the last ones, it further adds into the pressure.
The movie already has quite a buzz around it prior to its release. Reportedly it has also made some profits even before being released. Kalpathi revealed the overseas business made by the film will be ninety percent of the value off Tamil Nadu. This year has been a good one for Tamil cinema and six of the top ten highest grossers in India have been films from the southern states. On the top of it, Vijay’s last project

Though the film expects a grand treatment by the audience, Kalpathy unveils her nervousness and pressure for its release. She said, “I had the same presssure for ‘Bigil’ (2019 hit, which also starred Vijay), so it is not different.” GOAT, being the company’s silver jubilee film becomes the most ambitious project they have created till date. And so is the pressure for its success.
