Nandamuri Balakrishna‘s celebrity talk show Unstoppable is one of the most successful OTT show in recent times. The show has garnered a positive response from the Telugu OTT audience, largely thanks to Balakrishna’s dynamic presence and his unfiltered conversations with the guests on the show. But as it appears, Aha Video has missed the trick with the much anticipated episode of Unstoppable which will feature Mahesh Babu and Balakrishna.
The said Balakrishna – Mahesh Babu episode was shot a few weeks ago and the final edited version should have been readied by now. But for some odd reason, Aha Video is holding back on the video. Even last week, there was a lot of anticipation surrounding the episode and it was just about the right time to release the episode. But that didn’t happen.
Then, many expected Aha Video to premiere the episode on New Year’s eve – December 31st. But that isn’t happening either. Aha Video has announced that the recently shot episode featuring Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni will be the New Year special episode from the show. Well, it needs to be said that Aha Video should have released the Balakrishna – Mahesh Babu episode this New Year’s eve. The episode could have registered record viewership had it been unveiled as a New Year’s special outing.
Aha appears to be planning to release the episode when the right window comes. But they have already missed a couple of optimal release slots. Delaying the episode further will only dampen the hype surrounding it. For example, the Mahesh Babu – Jr NTR special episode from Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu was televised several weeks after it was shot. The delay in release was one of the reasons behind the utterly poor TRP ratings the episode garnered following its television premieres. Aha Video is repeating a similar mistake now.
