Aha Video Takes A Game-Changing Decision

Ravi Teja‘s Krack is the first big film on the Regional Telugu OTT Platform, Aha Video. For the most part of 2020, Aha Video concentrated on their Originals and dubbing of hit films of other languages. They sealed the deal of Krack towards the end of their first year. But into their second year, Aha Video had decided to change its strategy.

Speaking at the Aha Video’s First Anniversary event, Allu Aravind, the promoter hinted at this change. “Bagging Krack is a gamechanger for us. The movie is getting good traction for us. We are going to bag some big films going forward which will increase our reach. We have some big shows lined up with star heroines,” Allu Aravind said.

This decision can be a gamechanger for Aha Video. Until now, the big film segment is the only area where the OTT platform lacks. This decision will fill the void. This is also a piece of good news for the Telugu film industry. With more competition, the filmmakers will be able to get better offers from the OTT platforms. But then, that will be not so good news to the OTT platforms which may have to shell more money in the race.
