Regional Telugu OTT Platform – AHA had unveiled its slate of releases from this Diwali to next Diwali at a grand event in Hyderabad on Friday. The event happened at JRC Convention Center, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. It is the first time such a big event has happened for an OTT platform in Hyderabad. Tollywood Superstar Allu Arjun is the Chief Guest for this event. In his address at the event, Allu Arjun revealed that directors like Sukumar, Harish Shankar, Surendar Reddy, and Vamshi Paidipally who previously worked with him are doing shows for AHA.
It looks like these Top Directors of Tollywood are either bankrolling or supervising the making of some shows. They may have conceptualized the shows and supervised the making. This is the first step in making OTT content mainstream in Telugu. But then, making OTT exclusive films directed by such directors should complete the process.
With a big name like Allu Aravind behind AHA, that is very much manageable sooner or later. Meanwhile, the details about the shows are kept under wraps and some of them already completed shoot. The shows are likely to incite curiosity in the audience thanks to the big names attached to them and so, AHA may have saved the announcement for some other day.
