Aha Video has finally managed to catch the attention of the Telugu OTT audience. The Telugu-only OTT platform’s newest outing, Unstoppable, a celebrity talk show hosted by Nandamuri Balakrishna is turning out to be a real blockbuster. The talk show is a smashing success and it has greatly boosted Aha Video’s brand value. Several clippings of Balakrishna’s unfiltered and real conversations with the guests on the show are being reshared on social media and that is in turn boosting Aha’s reach. There are also reports that Aha Video’s subscriber count witnessed a noticeable spike following the premieres of Unstoppable.
Now, coming to the topic, an interesting report pertaining to Balakrishna’s remuneration for Unstoppable has surfaced on the internet. As per this report, Balakrishna was paid Rs 25 lakh per episode. The opening season has 10 episodes, meaning Balakrishna will be pocketing a total of Rs 2.5 crores for hosting the show. This is an impressive paycheque but given the impact, Balakrishna has created with Unstoppable, Aha Video should most certainly double his pay for the second season of the show.
It is all but confirmed that Aha Video has renewed Unstoppable for sophomore season and it will be as dashing as the first season. Following the super success of the inaugural season of Unstoppable, largely thanks to Balakrishna, it would only be fair to say Aha should hike Balakrishna’s pay.
Meanwhile, the final episode of Unstoppable which will feature Balakrishna and Mahesh Babu is gearing up for its digital premieres. This will be the flagship episode of the show.
