Ahsoka Tano is not a Jedi but definitely one of the most loved characters and finally she is getting a series of her own. The official teaser trailer for ‘Ahsoka‘ has been released today. The star-Wars series starring Rosario Dawson was announced to be coming out this August in the Star Wars Celebration Europe. It is created by Dave Filoni and for Disney+. There is a flood of excitement for the miniseries.
It was a shower of good news for the fans of Star Wars when in the SWCE or Star Wars Celebrations Europe one after another projects were being announced. Apart from Ahsoka, Andor 2, Dave Filoni’s Star Wars film, Acolyte were announced too.
Dave Filoni had written the script and he will be directing several episodes too, including the very first one. Peter Ramsey will be directing at least one episode.
The series features the character Ahsoka Tano from The Mandalorian. The Mandalorian spin-off takes place in the same timeline as itself and deals with the adventures of Tano. She along with Sabine Wren starts a search for fellow rebels like Ezra Bridger and they travel throughout the galaxy while the forces of the empire continuously search for themselves. She will rise to more power after the galactic civil war that awaits. Rosario Dawson is reprising her role as Ahsoka. She made her Star Wars debut with the character of Ahsoka in the second season of The Mandalorian.
Apart from Rosario Dawson, the film will have other actors like Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sakhno and Eman Esfandi. It may as well have some cameos too.
