The much-awaited supernatural horror thriller movie ‘Shaitaan’ finally has a release date in theatres. The Ajay Devgn – Madhavan – Jyotika starrer hits theatres across India on 8th March, 2024. Producers Jio Studios, Panorama Studios and Ajay Devgn’s ADFFilms revealed the ‘Shaitaan’ release date on their social media handles this morning.
For those who don’t know, Shaitaan is the official Hindi remake of Gujarati film, ‘Vash’. The horror thriller directed by Krishnadev Yagnik was a blockbuster hit as well as received critical acclaim from all quarters. Vash released in theatres in February 2023, and was a certified hit.
‘Shaitaan’ follows a family man who gets caught up in black magic and supernatural events led by the sinister designs of an evil man. Apart from main leads Ajay Devgan, Jyothika and R. Madhavan, Shaitaan, the Hindi remake of Vash, will also star Gujarati actors Janki Bodiwala and Anngad Raaj, who played pivotal roles in the Gujarati original. Shaitaan is directed by Queen director, Vikas Bahl.
Horror thriller Shaitaan is produced by Jyoti Deshpande for Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat Pathak of Panorama Studios. Interestingly, the makers have chosen a surprising release date for Shaitaan, 8th March being International Women’s Day.
