Akosia Sabet Is In Talks To Play Goddess Bast in Thor 4

Thor: Love and Thunder is ready to rock and roll! It seems like Marvel Cinematic Universe is looking to own the year 2022. Kevin Feige and his team are ready to deliver three upcoming blockbusters this year: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The first one is already among the hottest buzzes in Hollywood due to the rumours of various notable Marvel characters appearing in the movie after the events of Spider-Man No Way Home. There’s no doubt in admitting that Doctor Strange will face the consequences of his botched spell in his upcoming sequel movie. On the other hand, we have Black Panther 2 with Shuri playing a more important role than the previous instalment. But we cannot just throw Thor 4 out of the equation here. Latest reports have stated that the fans may witness Akosia Sabet in the upcoming Thor project.

Various sources are heavily promoting the casting of Sabet in Thor 4. She is rumoured to portray the Goddess Bast in this one. If you have forgotten who Bast is, then let us remind you. She is the goddess that bestowed the powers of Black Panther to Bashenga and the rest of his lineage. And many years later, T’Challa was chosen to hold the mantle of the protector of Wakanda. However, Marvel has not yet confirmed her addition to the Black Panther sequel. But if this happens, then Bast will make her live-action debut in Thor 4 in the form of a cameo appearance with Sabet donning the mythical character.

Apart from Sabet, we also have Russell Crowe playing Zeus, the ancient Olympic God, in Thor 4. It looks like this movie will become a hell of a rollercoaster ride for the Marvel fans.

In addition to Akosia Sabet, we also have Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Jeff Goldblum, and many more characters in the movie. And how can we forget the iconic Guardians of the Galaxy members? Taika Waititi has helmed the forthcoming Thor project. It will drop in theatres on July 8.
