Alan Moore’s ‘Watchmen’ Animated Adaptation Gets A Trailer!

Brace up fans, the animated adaptation of Alan Moore’s iconic graphic novel ‘Watchmen’ is coming to theaters soon. The trailer has been released and it looks pretty good. The movie will be out on the 13th of August. The novel has already been adapted into a popular movie and a web series previously. It is said to be one of the darkest tales in the history of graphic novels.

There will be two films made on it. And the voice cast for ‘Watchmen: Chapter 1’ has some big names in the list. Matthew Rhys will be playing the role of Nite Owl, Katee Sackhoff will play Silk Spectre, Titus Welliver will be there as Rorschach, Troy Baker will play the character of Ozymandias and Michael Cerveris will be Dr. Manhattan.

There will also be other actors like Geoff Pierson, Rick D. Wasserman, Jeffrey Combs giving their Voices to different characters. ‘Watchmen’ is a story which is very difficult to adapt. The movie adaptation came out in 2009 and was directed by Zack Snyder. It divided fans even though it tried to recreate the visual style of Alan Moore.

The new trailer looks pretty good and even though there will be comparison with previous adaptations, fans are eager for the release and it will hopefully be accepted with love.
