Police procedural series ‘Alert: Missing Persons Unit’ premiered on broadcast TV in the US on 8th January, 2023. The crime drama series was well-received by audiences, so much so that the series was renewed for the second Season in March 2023. The police procedural has been created by John Eisendrath and Jamie Foxx. It aired on Fox TV in the USA.
TV buffs who have been waiting for the series to stream on OTT in India will be happy to know that ‘Alert: Missing Persons Unit’ is now available to stream on an Indian OTT platform. The series began streaming on SonyLIV from this morning. Alert: Missing Persons Unit’ Season 1 comprises 10 episodes, and all ten episodes are now available for streaming on SonyLIV.
The series centres on the Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Person’s Unit (MPU), and its officers Jason Grant (Scott Caan) and Nikki Batista (Dania Ramirez), who investigate missing persons’ cases and help people find their missing loved ones. Alongside their police duties, the former husband-wife couple is also trying to find out the truth about their own missing son.
