Disney+ Hotstar has unveiled the premiere date for the remaining episodes of its original series ‘Showtime’ starring Emraan Hashmi in the lead. Created by Sumit Roy, all episodes of ‘Showtime’ premieres on 12th July, 2024 only on Disney+ Hotstar.
In the video announcement launched today by Disney+ Hotstar, Emraan Hashmi in a voiceover is heard saying how the beginning of a film is always easy with some laughs and banter, a little romance, and some friction but the real fun starts only after the interval.
The previous episodes of ‘Showtime’ had reasonable performances and entertains despite the ridiculous premise. Though the series is highly exaggerated, taking itself too seriously with overkill of plot devices and twists.
Directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar and written by Sumit Roy, Lara Chandni, and Mithun Gangopadhyay, ‘Showtime’ stars Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana, Mouni Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Shriya Saran, Vijay Raaz, Naseeruddin Shah, Lilette Dubey, Vishal Vashishtha, Neeraj Madhav, Gurpreet Saini, and Denzil Smith.
A Dharmatic Entertainment production ’Showtime’ is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra and Mihir Desai. Remaining episodes of ‘Showtime’ will premiere only on Disney+ Hotstar on 12th July, 2024.
